Help me come up with a new word for “Leadership”! Because, when I share about “leadership”, you are going to imagine that I’m talking about being a “boss” at work… and then you are going to say “But I’m not a leader! What you are sharing doesn’t apply to me!” and then I will have to convince you that you are, indeed, a leader. Let me break it down…

The world is broken down into teeny tiny bite sized pieces for us these days. How convenient! Our attention spans have been nuked with on demand hits of social media dopamine and having the entire world at our finger tips. (Cue Bo Burnham’s “Welcome to the Internet”!)

My experience as a business owner is probably familiar to many. I spent (so so ) many years drowning; doing everything humanly possible, yet it never being anywhere near enough. Knowing that I needed more help, but not having the time, energy or money to find it.

I learned almost everything I know about being an Elevated Leader the hard way, and I wished that there had been more resources to help me see how simple it could be.

We so often believe that the answer is outside of ourselves, and it never actually is. Many people hate to hear this because blaming others seems so easy… but when we know that it is OURSELVES at the root of it all, we can actually take action and create lasting change.
